<image:title>Season Four - Project Greenlight - EP 411: The Composer and the Sound Designer - Jeff Pitts</image:title>
<image:caption>Jeff Pitts is a prime time emmy award winning sound designer. Originally from Akron, Ohio, Jeff came to LA in 2007 and began his career working on indie films like Battle for Terra, Wackness, and World’s Greatest Dad. Since then his work has expanded to include higher profile productions, including Blair Witch, Death Note, the Guest, and you’re next - plus numerous LEGO franchises, including Hero Factory LEGO Atlantic, Lego Jurassic World, Lego Guardians of the Galaxy and the Ninjago 4D ride at Legoland. Jeff will go to extremes to get good sounds: he’s combed through junkyards to find the perfect sounds of machinery and scrap metal, followed Route 66 into the mojave to collect the sounds of ghost towns, and spent weeks in Tokyo, Seattle and NYC recording their soundscapes. He loves curating and designing interesting sounds and presenting them in a way that emphasizes the art, the content. A lot of the time, people think they won’t notice sound design. But they’ll definitely notice when it’s wrong.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Meko Winbush is an LA native. She attended Occidental College and graduated with a B.A. in Art History and the Visual Arts. After college she pursued a career in film trailer editing, while also honing her craft as a writer in her free time. Over the past decade she has edited film trailers for all major studios and streaming platforms. She is best known for her Conjuring teaser “Hide and Clap”. A desire to be creative outside of the trailer industry led to her writing and directing several short films. She is also an avid photographer. And she hates spiders</image:caption>

<image:caption>Film & TV Producer and production consultant, Yolanda’s credits include THE BOOK OF ELI, SOMETHING BORROWED, THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2, DOLPHIN TALE 1 & 2, JOYFUL NOISE, LOTTERY TICKET, BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, POINT BREAK and THE BLIND SIDE (which was Academy-nominated for Best Picture and garnered a Best Actress award for Sandra Bullock). Yolanda, who left behind her foundation as a CPA not long after committing fully to producing film, is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (serving on the Executive Branch Executive Committee) as well as the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences and holds elected office on the Board of Directors of the Producers Guild of America. Her career in film & tv spans over 25 years, during which time she’s shepherded studio productions for Disney, Warner Bros, Paramount/Viacom as well as working in the field on productions for other studios and independently producing projects. Cochran is also a co-producer and co-host of the irreverent podcast series Dungeons ’n’ Durags which follows the hilarious journey of one nerdy black man’s crisis of racial identity and crisis of faith in an America turned upside down. Prior podcast productions include a documentary short and podcast mini-series entitled Breaking the Glass, highlighting and seeking solutions to challenges specific to gender and race in the entertainment industry.</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet the Team - Julie Harris Oliver</image:title>
<image:caption>Julie Harris Oliver works with production companies and producers to address the lack of diversity and roll out data-driven human-centered tools to foster equitable and inclusive spaces. She most recently served as the Director of Production Equity and Inclusion at Warner Bros Discovery, where her mission was to make the company’s film and TV sets the safest, most inclusive places to create in the world. After two decades in the entertainment industry, Julie realized that too often she was the only woman in the room where the decisions were being made and she needed a platform for the change she wanted to make. So, in 2016 she launched a podcasting company and produced six seasons of “The Other 50%: A Herstory of Hollywood” where she has interviewed over 220 successful women of all backgrounds who work in entertainment, and several brilliant gender equity experts. What started as an exploration of implicit bias in Hollywood quickly became an education in representation and inclusion. Julie is currently producing the 4th season of “Catch A Break” about getting your start in the industry, while talking to brilliant practitioners in all kinds of crew and studio positions. Prior to Julie’s DEI work, she held executive positions at GreenSlate, Entertainment Partners, and HBO after being a production auditor for the Walt Disney Company. She holds a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.</image:caption>
